THE TRIAL.
Your bridal trial is a collaboration between us- an opportunity for us to explore your vision and create a look that feels entirely your own. Taking place in a studio in Whitstable and are typically scheduled during quieter periods of the year- usually March and April for summer weddings and September for winter weddings.
A make-up only trial last approximately two hours, while a combined hair and make-up trial lasts up to three hours. We’ll discuss your personal style, dress and colour palette and inspiration before refining your bridal look together.
As both a make-up artist and facialist, I take a considered approach to skin preparation, offering tailored advice to help you achieve a smooth, radiant complexion in the lead up to your wedding day.
THE WEDDING DAY.
On the morning of your wedding, I’ll come to your chosen location to create your bridal hair and make-up, bring your vision to life with a considered approach to every detail.
From skin preparation and a beautifully radiant complexion to hair that compliments your features, dress and personal style, each element is thoughtfully tailored to you. whether your vision is effortlessly undone or more polished and refined, the aim is to create a harmonious, timeless look that feels like an elevated version of yourself- one that photographs beautifully and lasts throughout your celebrations.
BRIDAL PARTY.
Your bridal party can enjoy the experience alongside you, with hair and make-up tailored to each individual, while maintaining a cohesive feel across the group. From bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom to flower girls, every look is approached with the same care and attention to detail.
The morning is thoughtfully planned in advance, allowing time for everyone to feel relaxed, enjoy the experience and feel their best as you prepare for the day ahead.
Trial appointments for your bridal party can also be arranged where needed.
FALSE LASHES.
I favour Sweed No Lash-Lash individual lashes for their beautifully natural, barely- there finish, enhancing the eyes without feeling heavy or overdone. A selection of alternative lash styles are also available, allowing us to tailor the finish to your desired look- from subtle definition to a little more impact with cluster or stripe lashes.
ON-THE-DAY RETOUCHING.
For brides wishing to enjoy a seamless transition from day to evening, I offer an on-the-day retouching service. Remaining on hand for touch-ups and any desired hair or make-up adjustments, I’ll ensure your look continues to feel fresh and beautiful.
OVERTIME.
Your wedding morning is carefully planned to ensure a relaxed, seamless experience. Should additional time be required beyond the agreed schedule, overtime charges may apply. Any additional time and associated costs will be discussed with you in advance.
BRIDAL HAIR.
Bridal hair is available alongside make-up if you require, creating a considered and cohesive look that feels effortless on your wedding day.
TEAM BY SOPHIE HIGGINSON.
Depending on the size of your bridal party, the services required and your wedding morning schedule, a professional assistant or additional hair and make-up artist maybe required to ensure everyone is ready in good time. Any additional support will be discussed and agreed in advance, allowing your morning to feel relaxed, seamless and beautifully relaxed.
If i’m unavailable for your wedding date, I maybe able to offer an experienced make-up artist or hair stylist from my trusted professional network.
